Types of Hydraulic Torque Wrenches

There are two main types of hydraulic torque wrenches, square-drive and low-profile.

All of our hydraulic torque wrenches are mechanically checked for any issues before leaving the site. We provide a thorough cleaning, calibration and review of all of our equipment to ensure the highest degree of accuracy. 

Mechanically checking a hydraulic torque wrench is a critical maintenance and quality assurance procedure to ensure that the tool is functioning accurately.

Testing the Square Drive: If the hydraulic torque wrench has a square drive or socket attachment, the square drive should be inspected for wear and properly lubricated. A worn or damaged square drive can lead to inaccuracies in torque application.

Periodically, hydraulic torque wrenches need to be calibrated to ensure that they apply the correct torque as per their settings.
