Torkworx provides induction bolt/nut heating services to open and/or close any turbine shells/casings, stop valves, throttle valves, boiler feed pumps, and cross-over piping, with the most experienced and qualified technicians that guarantees a safe and accurate job.
ADVANTAGES
- Eliminates the risk of electric rods/wands shorting out and creating internal damage to the bore of a bolt, also provides a safe alternative to open flame heating, NO unexpected flame-out re-ignition or gases fumes .
- The induction form of heating saves time in the heating and cool down durations over any form of bolt stretching and requires a small work force.
- Any electrical bolt heater can only provide up to 3.6 Kw’s where as induction bolt heating can supply up 80 Kw of control input heating power.
- All heat is directed into the body of the bolt, reducing the heat input into the shell/valve.
- In-house Rod/Wand manufacturing for any bolting service is available.
